PART-TIME PROGRAM WINTER 2021 GRAMMAR & WRITING
Local students and short-term visitors may take as few or as many courses as they would like up to 16 hours per week. Academic advisement is available upon request. Note: those wishing to be considered for “conditional admission” to Monroe, must enroll in full-time courses. You will be expected to write essays, content for PowerPoint slides, emails and produce other types of writing as a student or professional. Learn grammar in the context of your own writing and through real-world situations and exercises from the textbook. Learn how to correct your mistakes and improve your writing by editing and revising your papers. As an academic preparation program, research and group projects will make part of this course. The course will allow you to work by yourself and with your classmates to complete assignments.
